Student tour operator WorldStrides, considered the largest educational travel company in the United States, has acquired Austin, Texas based International Studies Abroad (ISA). ISA specializes in undergraduate study abroad, service-learning and internships for university students, custom academic programs for universities, and gap year and service-learning programs for high school students.
ISA had been in business since 1987 with over 300 employees. The company boasts that they handle study abroad programs for more than more than 700 U.S. universities with programs operating at more than 100 international host universities in 30 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Australia/New Zealand.
